Focus on joy, work with simplicity, and dare to mix old with new. Sprinkle a feeling of togetherness, and the equation adds up completely. Louise Bondebjer, food creator and author, shares the same values as PotteryJo when it comes to creating a successful and inspiring dinner experience. Therefore, it felt natural for both parties to arrange the release event for Louise Bondebjer’s new book “Swedish Kitchen Stories – recipes, cultures and tradition” at PotteryJo’s showroom in Stockholm.
PotteryJo believes in supporting people who inspire you. When Louise Bondebjer contacted Johanna Hampf about a book release event, there was no doubt that PotteryJo wanted to be part of it. PotteryJo’s showroom in Stockholm opened the door for a cozy event on the 18th of September, inviting people to step inside and get inspired. During the event, they were also able to enjoy a breakfast consisting of steaming hot coffee or tea, and Louises’s homemade crispbread with marmalade and cheese. Louise was signing and selling her cookbook “Swedish Kitchen Stories – recipes, cultures and tradition”, and the customers were at the same time able to buy products from PotteryJo.
– The concept was great! My cookbook, together with PotteryJo’s tableware and the showroom itself, created an inspiring environment. It was a lovely way of influencing the customers to start cooking – they returned home with both tableware and recipes, says Louise Bondebjer.
Both Louise and Johanna work with food and decorations in mind, and share many views – for example using seasonal ingredients and mixing old details with new. Read more about Louise Bondebjer's view on food and inspiration here!
