Embrace the sunny trend – decorate your table with yellow for an optimistic and creative look

Happiness, optimism, creativity, and sunshine. These are only a few things that the color yellow is known for. No wonder it is one of the most commonly used colors during spring and summer! In this article, we will guide you through how to make your table setting pop with yellow!

Yellow has been immensely popular for the last couple of years, especially during warmer seasons. And 2021 is no exception. During spring and summer, this color will play a central role when it comes to interior. To help you embrace this trend we give you four tips on how to decorate your table with the sunny shade in the easiest way. Enjoy!

Introducing daffodil – perhaps the happiest DAISY shade so far
Is there a better way to embrace this trend than with yellow tableware? Certainly not. That is why we are very excited to introduce our new DAISY shade daffodil! We wanted to honor the color in the most natural way possible, and therefore named the shade after the flowers that inspired it.

We dare to promise that these plates will evoke the same happy feeling that the actual flowers do – the shade truly makes the table setting pop. The daffodil shade will be available in May and we hope that you will love it as much as we do!

Dye fabric with turmeric
When introduced to a new trend, it is easy to get carried away. All of a sudden, the acquisitiveness is real and you want to embrace the trend wholeheartedly. But of course, there are other ways to embrace the yellow trend than to buy yellow tableware. If you are looking for an eco-friendly way, we simply say: turmeric and old pieces of fabric. Did you know that you can color old tablecloths, napkins, or even garments in turmeric water? All you have to do is boil water and then add vinegar and some turmeric. Let the fabric bath for ten minutes and rinse. You will absolutely love the result!

Mix and match with complementary colors
Did you know that yellow captures our attention more than any other shade? However, you can still make it pop even more than it does naturally. For example, add some details in a complementary color! Purple compliments the yellow shades really well. In other words, by adding purple candles or a purple bouquet you will get that extra touch you are looking for. Simple but effective!

Make use of the sun
This tip is so easy it often gets forgotten: make use of the natural source to the color yellow itself! By opening up your windows, doors, and pulling away heavy curtains you will get free access to the sunlight, that will create this yellow trend for free. Of course, the result will be maximized if you also take advantage of the tips above.
