In april 2022 we had the great opportunity to visit our factories in Portugal for a close up on the techniques they use when producing for us.
We love to see the artisans work, how each process of its own tells us a story of an ancient and beautiful handicraft.
From the sourcing of the RAW material from the earth, each handmade recipe of all components that makes the Clay work.
The moulding techniques, the casting, rolling and decorating part of each item that is being finalised. To be more aware of the process behind each item you place on your table we have gathered some beautiful pictures from our production.
We LOVE to work with sustainability all the way, from the raw material that is put together, to re-cycling of both the waste material from production to the re-cycling of fired faulty items that comes to life again. The left-over glazes that becomes new ones are some ways to contribute. Another is minimal transportation of our products, no plastic in the wrapping process is another.
We continue doing all that is possible to make our products last as long as possible by maintaining the highest quality possible for each technique used. We will continue working to become even more elevated in this area.
