The feeling of spring grows larger as the cherry trees blossom. At PotteryJo, we can not wait for brighter days to arrive at our headquarter in Stockholm. A longing feeling that inspired three additional colors to our DARIA Stoneware collection: sand, umbra, and accolade.
At PotteryJo, we love to celebrate Mother Nature and her different seasons. To honour spring we introduce our latest DARIA Stoneware update: three new colors are being released at the end of April. The colors are warm, feminine, and light hearted, just like springtime. Additionally, they are easy to recognize from our surrounding nature – a way of inspiring you to set the table with natures influences close in mind.
DARIA sand
Our color sand is earthy, tranquil, and sincere, just like the wavy sand on a calm beach. It is the lightest of the additional colors coming this spring, and by setting your table with this version of DARIA you create a trendy and elegant, yet timeless look. To take the beachy look even further, you can decorate with green and blue to imitate the reed dunes by the ocean. Perhaps a light blue linen tablecloth and some flourishing green flowers? Or just obt for tone on tone for a sleek and exclusive table.
DARIA umbra
Umbra, a true aquarelle color that brings your mind back to the seventies. Umbra will remind you of the power of growth: the color brings your thoughts to botanics such as trees in a forest that arise towards the sky. Furthermore, umbra will create a discreet but luxurious setting that is beautiful to combine with a colorful spring bouquet and twisted candles in pastel colors – one of the biggest interior trends of 2021. Umbra with a classic rustic table is also a “high five”, think old Italian kitchen with an embroidered white tablecloth.
DARIA accolade
As we mentioned earlier, the feeling of spring grows larger as the cherry trees blossom. The color accolade is inspired by the cherry trees in Stockholm that cover Kungsträdgården in light pink flower pedals and cheerful hope. To bring this hopeful feeling into our homes, we created DARIA accolade. This stoneware will create a feminine, yet not girly, look that marries well with all our other colors in this collection.
